And if you happen to be in/around Bicester/Banbury area, please excuse the boyish grin and exuberance of the Police officer given the duty of driving the marked Defender 110 that is being used to 'help' drivers out of a pickle (read: ditches).

Not letting up near Stafford about 3 maybe 4 inches

Thank god for winter tyres, had to go docs this morning with confirmed chicken pox, unbelievable.

I blame my 4 year old who hasn't had the spots. Feel fine so used the opportunity to go out and stockpile food

Don't envy you. An adult with chickenpox

Sheffield: Bugger all really since yesterday evening. It's still hanging around but nearly all roads are clear.

Went up to my parent's house mid-morning and their road had a light dusting. I found out for the first time in nearly 2 years just how shit these cars are when it's slippy. In a FWD I wouldn't have given it a thought.

Yes,that would of been our route, but we've abandoned our plans now,so thanks for the heads up

Glad I set off from Hampshire to Warwickshire lastnight!

Roads around Warwickshire are not too bad but there's plenty of snow.

Ordered some Yokohama W Drive 902's for the car as I've had winter tyres every other winter and I'd rather not have to be towed from a ditch in this wether as many have already been from what I've seen so far today.

About an inch in Buckhurst Hill - main roads are coping well - side roads not. Taxis stopped running.

South Warwickshire

We've got about 6" of snow and it is still falling. I had to go to my kids school as they decided to close. I ended up collecting 6 kids in total from our village.

Feeling smug because the Nokian Winters came in useful we were noticeably more stable than most others on the road. Even 4x4 were dribbling along at 20mph.

That's why the Touran in this picture is clear of the snow.

Only just started to come down properly at this end. About an inch if that lying. Roads are only just starting to have a coating.

^^ Very clever

Snowing heavily in Belfast but not lying yet.
Spend 3/4 hr putting the winter wheels on last night. Looks like it'll have been time well spent, lol
First time to try the Hankooks in anger..

Ha, I might go do that to mine. Although its still snowing so it won't last long. Plus, it's cold.

Guildford - Hampshire/Surrey - oh we've got it bad! Left work at 11, got home for 2!! (only 20 miles which usually takes 35-40 mins).
Interesting drive in the 1998 C class Merc.
-- The 335 is elsewhere getting a makeover

Upside: Nissan 4x4 was the best thing since sliced bread this PM over here.. wouldn't have thought it's snowing at all the way it handled.
