BMC air filter

Holy shit...I didn't expect much difference with a drop in filter, but I was wrong. Car is spooling quicker and the engine feels smoother and slightly quicker. I don't know why, but this appears to be a very good improvement for $85. I have a dyno day this week so I'll update this with dyno information.

The stock filter looks like crap compared to the BMC filter. I was so surprised by the difference in looks and performance. I read Jonmartins review of it and figured why not.

Effing FedEx delivery people can suck my middle nut. This was supposed to be deliverd on Saturday. I miss them by 20 mins and only know this because there was a delivery exception on my email tracking. Otherwise no door tag. I call up and complain and they say they will send them out on Monday(today) even though Ground is closed on Mondays.

Im checking my tracking today again and all of a sudden, I see another delivery exception. And it happened 10 mins ago. I was at my place the whole time and not a knock happened. Again, no door tag.

Now I have to wait till tomorrow for delivery. I just called up and gave some representative a verbal ass whooping. Damn Im pissed right now.

Just curious, when did you last change your stock filter?

Also, bad new on the dyno session. I need to postpone due to the car going in for various issues including the infamous brakes needing replaced when they are perfectly good. I have tentatively rescheduled until the 4th.

I've never changed it since I've had the car. I'm at about 10,700 miles now. Was I supposed to?

No problem re the dyno day. I could make the 4th if the shop has enough time.

I only have 4k miles on my car right now. Should I change out the filter right away or save it for later? BTW got my BMC from Ed as well, what a price!!!
