Well, to be fair, you are the one that made the grandiose claim in the first place.

Everyone is just waiting for you to back it up now.

guessing your z06...

what year is it? not all of them put up better track times than the 350. Also, the some of the older, slower ones are sub $50k sure, but not the new ones.

At what point did he say a "track" car. If this thing sucks on the street, the vast majority of people here would take another car instead. It will end up being a niche product few people care about. It may very well be good on the street but the jury is still out.

Exactly. I drive my cars a lot more on the street than the track. However, if I wanted a track toy, I already have one in my Z06. The GT350R is a cool car, but doesn't make me want to sell my Z06. Not even close.

Nope, they said NEW. I didn't say it had to be new for me.

I made no claims I need to back up. I said the GT350R is not for me. Did you order yours? Thought so.

That's just an article. Don't beleive on everything that mags write. M3/4 is still the winner!!!!! No other manufacturer beats the design n performance of them.

I would, the C6 interior is complete sh*t box. It is a good performance value for people than need to shop the second hand market.

In what way? Nicer interior? Ok... Performance wise the F8x generation loses in every way.

The ATS-V is over a second faster than the M3 around Willow Springs. Around NCM Motorsports park the GT350R is almost 6 seconds faster than the ATS-V.

Just throwing that out there.

Make up your minds, is the bandwagon here about the performance or is this now an interior thread? If I wanted a luxury sedan I'd buy something else. Clearly I did not buy my Z06 to put around in the plush paradise you live in. Your retarded elitist attitude is amusing. Have a nice day.

What do you mean by looses every way? Numbers say that the F8x is not the winner on any category so has been the history of m3s. They are not the best at any but overall they are. I am really biased because I like to drive a sport car not only that performs but that when I look at it, I see a beautiful car. I still don't get that when looking at any American car and I do get it from German and from Italian cars. Sorry American dreamers.

I'm with you, M3/4 are not the fastest on a track or on a straight but they are waaaaay much nicer than any Mustang 350 out there and please don't start by giving your thoughts on this matter. I really don't care if you like Vipers, Mustangs or Vettes. What I do care is that I will respect that feeling even though I do not understand it. If I was to be on a race I would get the fastest car no matter what it is as long as it will take me to first place. Something very different is what we live, as long as you not looking for a race car. A good example would be an F1 car. People don't see the beauty on those cars and prefer a NASCAR car. Again I respect that view but I don't understand it. Once Foose looking at a car covered in those fake diamonds at Sema and said "it's a perfect job but I will never do something like this". I don't agree that Mustangs are perfect cars but I can agree that they are getting faster but not nicer. Defining "nicer" and "loosing all" is a matter of another thread.

For the package that the GT350R is, I would so love to have one in my garage. Wait, I need extra garage space first

Most guys are not buying the M3/M4 for a pure track car. Apparently Car and Driver disagrees with you too: http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...omparison-test. The ATS-V is the 3rd best car out of 3.

I never said they were. I was responding to the other guy who said "no other manufacturer beats the design and performance of them". Design is subjective but performance isn't. I was just showing how the M3 lost performance wise. Unfortunately BMW has lost their touch in that department IMO.

Wow, stumbled onto the mustang forums by mistake. Lol.

There are several stock m4's that've run 12 flat at 118....so I certainly would not say it loses in every way. I know which one I'd buy, but each to his own.

Add a tune and stickier tires and you have 11s all day long. The 350 isn't going to get much more with a tune and it is already riding on sport cups.

Let's get back on track here ... the 350 is a major step up for Ford! It is great they built it. However, it is a niche vehicle and we still need to get more reviews. It is a large heavy vehicle and that can't be hidden no matter what. Hell I think M2 is heavy for its size.
