My bad. I thought you were referring to the 1/2 mile traps. I've only been to the drag strip once so there was a bit of a learning curve going on. Launch Control was out of the question though next time I may flash back to the 135is TCU flash with a 3500 rpm launch point and try that. Here's my time slips. It's a easy mid 11's with a decent 60 ft time.

Continuing on with my rear tire saga...
I got an alignment and now am getting rubbing in the rear with the 265/30/19 PSS's and 10mm spacers. Only slight rubbing over dips in the road, but with no passengers. If I put people in the car, it's going to rub more and it's annoying. It's only rubbing the plastic so rolling the fenders won't have any effect. Has anyone tied back the plastic fender well liner on the rear like I've heard of people doing on the front? Thanks, Greg Quote:

Has anyone upgraded The stock paddle shifters on their DCT cars to more aggressive looking paddle shifters? I found these on eBay.

I literally just logged into the thread to ask the same question. I can't justify the $350 + re-wiring to swap over to the M3 DCT modules with upgraded paddles. These seem like a decent option. Anyone? |

According to BMW, it's a lifetime fluid and does not require changing unless you have a specific heavy-duty application (track, etc).

I have the M3 paddle shifter modules with the extended billet paddles and the custom harness needed to run the M3 paddles and I love it! Granted the whole setup can get a bit pricey but I feel that it is an investment that I will be able to recoup around 80% of my cost on. + I just love the 'click' mechanism of the M3 paddles! Not very fond of the LCI paddles our cars come with because they do not provide the mechanical 'click' that the M3 paddles do. I know of a few fellow 335is'ers that are running the M3 paddle shifter setup like me and they love it! I have 2 custom wiring harnesses left if anyone wants a seamless OEM like setup/feel. The M3 paddle shifter modules run around $175-$200 and the custom harnesses are $125 shipped. |

You should be able to call just about any BMW dealer and confirm. I wouldn't go with anything aftermarket/non-oem.

$125 for harness + $250 for the M3 modules + $150 for the extended paddles = $525 total I sold my old paddles for about $175. $525 - $175 = $350. Not a bad investment for better looking and better feeling paddles Still a lot more than those ebay paddles, but who knows the quality of those. |

I have 313's with PSS 265/30/19. Currently running 12mm and it still rubs occasionally. 10mm may be perfect for the rear. Please post your results-I may ditch the 12mm and go 10mm as well. Last edited by Landjet; 02-06-2016 at 02:42 PM.. Reason: typo |

I had my fenders rolled at LTMW a few years ago and they didn't do A very good job. Ended up picking up some M3 track wheels a little while back so I had a local fender guru do a trim. Scary to watch, but the fender lip is gone and perfectly smooth for $100. He also trimmed the felt liner about 2". I thought the fender might be weak without the lip, but it's still super sturdy. Couldn't be happier.

To each his own, as they say. I can see how some might find it appealing in an aggressive sort of way, but it's just too much of a metallic, grating sound for me. If you're flying by a wall (of cars, of an underpass bridge, etc.) with the window open -- or like me with the top down -- the sound reflecting back can be overwhelming.
