I had mine done by a BMW technician and he ordered the OEM pins to use for the plug.
maybe the pins are special made, I don't know??
Mine works fine, Jay told me to turn the switch to ON position before start up the engine and works every time.

They install the footwell module? Or did they just install the headlights? And who is Jay?

Yeah but i dont think the switch to ON before turning the car on should make the difference. The whole year that i had halogen to xenon switch, i never switched it to ON before turning on the car and mine worked fine.

But then again, i also had mine installed by a BMW technician.

UH OH!!!!!!! So I was gonna just swap my halogens back and sell these, but low and behold my passenger side halogen light doesn't work. What do I do now? I checked everything and even OHMed out the plug and the plug is fine.

Damn you might have a bad connection from the power source, at least you now know that your lights aren't defective. Put those halogens back in and take it to a dealership and let them find the problem. Once they correct it reinstall you Xenons and you should be fine. Goodluck...

Thanks. I talked to the master tech at my dealership and he said its got to be a fuse. check all fuses and than if I want he'll install the xenons.

If the light is on everytime you start the car then went off, I don't think is a fuse issue. Unless the light wont turn on at the first you start the car.

yes it should not be the fuse hahah i happen to be jay pleased to meet you hah anyways remember to undo the xenon conversion because i think bad things will happen....55W vs 35W idk.... anyways get it checked if the halogens dont even work then something is really screwed up.... fuse or the harness from the car might have some issues....

id say itd be your fuse or the OEM harness that leads from the car although most likely its your fuse....worst comes to worst somehow you didnt do the DIY correctly and by putting xenons on it messed up your circuts hah most like ly the fuses....

OK called the Dealer Master Tech and he said we'll look at it tomorrow night possibly and get the xenons put back in. I hope we can get it right. I'm totally getting pissed about this.

don't worry all should go well just bring your halogens in and tell them to fix then affix or u can affix the xenons if you can get a couple of extra dealer plugs that go into the terminal i could use some heheh

I'll see if he has any extra. We are going to do it at his house after work. So he may not have too many at his house.

hmm are you sure you have checked all the fuses im sure there is one for each headlight???but i am not sure....if it isnt the fuses then it must be some power supply which means perhaps the OEM harness you gotta check that all the places that are connected to the harness must be connected well.....
