323i Power Increase

All new 323i models in Australia recently received a number of small updates to make them more appealing to potential buyers. One of the improvements was an increase in engine output from 130kW to 140kW.

Now I know there has been lots of discussion about how it is not viable to upgrade a 323i to 325i output due to the differences being far more than a simple computer update. This time however with such a modest increase I was hoping somebody would know if it was just a computer update that was needed and if so is there a way to get it done?
