I know the speakers are 4ohm & the tweeters are 8ohm, but does anyone know the RMS number for them?

Please advise....

Since BMW does not release this data you can only assume its close
to whatever the amp power is on this channel. And since they give
that at 10 percent distortion you can assume it's not very much.
Also this new 1A term you use are probably leaving a lot of people
scratching there heads and asking what is he talking about.

In the above thread in entry 18 there are spec sheets on the Logic 7
amp output chip where the power output is listed .
The 10 percent distortion at bmw's listed power comes from those.
In order to get 40 watts out of a 25 watt per channel chip they use
2 ohm speakers. The under seats chips say 70 against 4 ohms.

Are you talking about the bimmertech speakers?
called Alpha One . I would call them since they don't list power
either . And I hate that in a speaker company.

My abbreviation for BMW Individual Audio is IA, not 1A lol....😀. No issues.

So, by the figures listed in the logic 7 link you provided, I'd say the Individual Audio speakers are probably around 75-80watts @4ohm and the subs are maybe about 130-140watts@ 8ohm given that the individual audio amp is almost double the wattage of the logic 7 amp.

Logic 7 amp - 420 watts - 40 watt speakers w/ 9 channels

BMW IA amp - 825 watts - 75-80watt speakers w/9 channels

Seems like the best way to estimate it short
of finding the OEM manufacturer and calling them up.

So, the next question is how many watts per channel should an amp be to run the BMW IA speakers.?

The tweeters are 8ohm, but being they are so small I doubt that would have a lot of impact.

I am guessing 60 watts a channel at 4ohm would do the trick. I don't plan on using the IA subs. Not at 8ohm & 130-140watts. 🤔

I would feel good at anything between 50 and 100.
With around 75 being the average.
