How is this different than the Simon 3 tool? Hasn't the G5 been phased out/replaced by the Simon3, and does not have the same error code erasure capabilities?

Don't mean to hijack your sell thread, but I got burned on one of these earlier in the year. These are married to a specific car once you use it and it costs more to reset then it does just buying a new simon tool. This is straight from Andrew at AA.

I'm just going strictly by my bad experience when purchasing a used one in which I lost $200 over it. Again, not trying to be a jerk, just looking out for other members.
