Ohlins height adjustment range
I recently installed the "new for 2020" ohlins road and track kit for my 335D. The new kit comes with stiffer, but shorter springs. Nothing has been dialed in or adjusted yet as I litterally just lowered it from the lift. So no reviews yet...
My question is what is the acceptable adjustment range on the rear adjustable collar? As it sits it's lower than I'd like as the tire is tucked approx 1.5cm - 2cm. As per the set up instructions its not clear how much more I can raise the adjustable collar. Im only assuming my rear end is excessively low due to being the heavier 335D. Would it be safe to raise the car 3cm? Without encountering binding or coil instability issues? Ideally I would be 1-2cm lower than the OE msport suspension. |
