Only 15K? Wow that sucks. So now I'm back at square one. What do you guys recommend. I don't want a stiff ride but also want to drop the car maybe an inch or inch and a half. Not really a big fan of the slammed drop. I also definitely don't want one that wears out after 15K

Any suggestions close to what i'm looking for?

You also have to consider that coilovers are less durable than the stock suspension. Coilovers are built for the track, while stock suspension is built for the road. If you mainly drive on bad city roads, expect your coilovers to wear prematurely. My friend who lived in an area with bad roads had his KW V3s go out on him within 15K miles.

It's all situational. I'm sure plenty of forum members have well over 15K miles on their V3s.

I believe an aftermarket struts/springs combo (e.g. Bilsteins and Eibachs) will offer more durability than coilovers, but I'm not positive on that.

Kamek,

Thank you for all your input. I just looked at your car and the drop is just how i want to do it. Do you mind sharing your tires setup? (spacers, wheel size etc. ) Also are you using the KW 1?
Also any rubbing? Going thru pot holes and stuff?

you have your car sitting the way you do, yet have no idea about what will fit and what won't? do you really think you'll fit a 9.5" +7 or +2?

base on the fact that people put 10'' 10.5'' 11'' with 20+ offset on e92, will it be the same as 9.5'' with 7 offset ? i could be wrong

maybe a 10.5" +20 with 235 stretched and camber plates, meaning you'll need to get 205 on your 9.5" +7, which won't work with your XI. 235 on 9.5" is not a lot of stretch.

What set up can I run that is aggressive with current tires?235/265.

I'm thinking 19x9 ET 26 front.*
19x10.5 ET 26 rear.*
I will adjust current Kw v3 coils and stock cambers. I will roll my rear fender a little.*

I'm not looking for the craziest and risky set up. Something that I can run safe all year round that works, but looks good.*

Thanks,

19x9.5 n 19x10.5'' with 22-25 offset will be best for e92

Thanks,
9" with 235 and 10.5" with 265 stretch won't match and will look uneven.

Also consider that all tires stretch differently. Falken FK452s and Toyo T1Rs have thinner sidewalls and stretch better than say Hankook V12s or Continental DWs.

And also consider that you have LCI, so (I believe) your fitment will be different than non-LCI.

Conti Extreme DW's actually stretch fairly well. They also run a little narrow anyway. The pic below has 235/35/19 and 275/30/19 Conti DW's on a 9" front, 10.5" wide rear.......LCI like yours as well.
In the rear, where the fender meets the leading edge of the rear bumper is an issue. You can roll/shave and pull the fender as much as you want, but if you don't take care of the bumper/fender mount, then you WILL rub.

Thank you! I finally found someone with the same car.
Now I can ask questions.

What is the best set up and offset I can run for my rear without running then? I have 265 rear tires and plan on a little rolling.

Thanks!

It all depends on tires

I tried my 18 X 9 ET22 wheels with 15mm spacers for a final offset of +7 and was rubbing a lot with 265 tires (fenders are rolled and I'm slightly lowered )
I could have probably made it work with 245 tires but did not try

Here's how my car sits now
Front 18 X 8 ET20 235/40/18 Rear 18 X 9 ET22 265/35/18

next summer I'm going with a tad more aggressive set up with the wheels bellow in one of three configuration ( all 3 would fit without rubbing)

Square 18 X 9 ET25 245/40/18 with Spacers in the rear
or
Front 18 X 9 ET25 235/40/18 Rear 18 X 9 ET15 265/35/18
or
Front 18 X 9 ET25 235/40/18 Rear 18 X 10 ET35 265/35/18 (Most likely)
