Just cover up the eyebrow if you're looking for a blackout look.
But i dont have the rolling gears one, i have the OEM depo. With halo rings.
I'd suggest painting the insides vs tint.
Tint likely illegal and will get attention from cops, plus limit your light output.

Going based off your picture, the hids do look brighter but I got LEDs for the reliability.
Still wanna see your output
Hey sorry just saw this. Here's a pic of my output, I think both of my headlights are out of focus haven't really messed with them.

Do you think these headlights would work on Monaco blue?

Yeah but you might need to buy a vinyl to cover the white or silver eyebrow.

Bought a set of these headlights. They do look OEM and the DTM lights look great. Build quality is okay although I have had issues with marks on the inside of the lens and also condensation under heavy rain / wind. The issue with any kind of refund is that you have to send back to supplier at your cost (UK to Taiwan) which is expensive and then you have to pay the import tax on the replacement units. Think I have been a little unfortunate with mine but instead have some replacement lenses coming that I will fit and replace the cheap projectors with morimotos instead as the cut-off isn't great. The only other downside to these over OEM is the fact you do not have any kind of adaptive or leveling function.

The set I got came with some sort of piece required if you have adaptive lights. Don't know much about how that works, in NA we didn't get the adaptive function with halogen lights.

I'm going to order a set of the headlights soon. I was looking to do an HID kit but then I saw the LED kits. I see the OPT7 H7 kit and it's got great reviews but i'm concerned about light output in these projectors. I don't wanna blind everybody on the road and i don't want to waste money. Does anyone have the OPT7 LED kit in these headlights?

Why get led when u can get hid? Hid is better for these headlights as they aren't made for leds like the newer ones as the outputs for led aren't so great. Hid is your best bet

RKP has the OPT7 led with his headlights and said he thinks they're better than the HIDs. Just ordered the headlights and OPT7 LED so we'll see how it goes. If they don't work well I'll just return them.

Careful of which LED kit you get. I purchased on online, had great reviews, but doesn't fit inside the headlight housing. I think the housing is smaller/tighter than OEM.
