Sumil 235 rears are a maaaaaaaaaaaaad stretch son! I am also looking at that for my set up but can't help think they won't do much justice for a daily drive LOL!!
Probably be so worth it though hehe! As for 215s, that's a 100% given as that will give a lovely nice look.. mine are 8.5j fronts so also gonna' be throwin on 215s upfront, what offsets you running? Square set up or staggered? |

i know right!
yea the 215s i think will be fine but i have seen some 235s on my rear J and it seems to look pretty cool! you are running 10J rears so on yours 235 would be way too much of a stretch lol! its a staggered set up, slightly deeper rears not as deep as id hope though as the offsets are very aggressive i think they are in the teens but i need to confirm this!

Wow this is going to be stretch galore hehe.
I am looking forward to seeing this!!! I am going for a similar setup. But not as aggressive on the stretch or offset. 19x9.5 ET 20 235 tyre 19x10.5 ET 25 265 tyre I do not want to be popping any beads on London pot holes. Seen too many mates do that. This setup will result in a little rubbing. Thinking about cutting my fender lips off and slicing up the inner fender linings to prevent any rubbing. 2-3 degrees of neg camber in the back. But I'm not going to bother with camber plates... Looks like you guys with offsets in the high teens are going to need some serious camber haha. This is going to be some exciting stuff!!! When are you both going to be revealing your new rims!!!! |

you are running a 235 on a 9.5J when atm i am running a 265 on 9.5 so thats 30mm stretch already! your rears, 265 on 10.5J, i ran that profile on a 9.5 so i think youl get more stretch than you imagine alot more stretch than mine thats for sure i have had my arches rolled, slightly flared! see if i can get some neg camber in there but purely for cosmetics!!! so now you have some clues/more information on my wheels...dont keep yours a secret Josh!!! what are you planning my friend????

Lol, I completely forgot the name of the rims I am going for
Tbh my choices are slightly up in the air, but they all involve the same offsets. I will know for sure by Saturday. I wish we had metal front arches! Not much we can do with the plastic ones |

Thanks for the pic! LOOKS AWESOME! I take it dips did the paint job?
I may be getting the wheels I want this weekend if they come though that is. BT then they need powdercoating and tyres. Within the next 3 weeks is possible. But if they don't come through I could be waiting a couple months I should have got a build thread going ages ago... Now I am nearing completion... Sort of... I will just do a completed thread and update it from there. I will need a photo shoot too! |

My offsets aren't as aggro as Sumils but they are a rare set of 2 piece split, deep dish |

I am going to setup a spy cam at dips place so I can leak the pics when they come through!
I think dips may do mine too, but I am unsure. |

If you are unsure about Dip's work, don't lol - he's probably one the best contacts you'll make.. 21 featured cars on PBMW, he's really knowledgeable and it was Sumil who told me to get in touch with him... never looked back.
He's done everything on my car from Audio installation, all body work, wheel refurb, wheel / tyre advice, coilovers, painting etc etc. You'll see whe she's ready and of course when Sumil's car is ready, the magic Dips has lol. The Custom Cars.. its where it begins and it's where it ends! Dayum, I need to call him right now and get that to be his slogan! loool |

Hah I am fully aware of dips quality work. It just depends who the guy I am buying the rims from gets them powdercoated. I think he knows dips well and will be using him but I am not sure.
