Anyone have an E91 with Bilsteins?
The shocks on the wagon are dead with 78k miles. I’m considering either B6 with the stock springs or going all the way with a B12 combo.
Does anyone have a wagon riding on either of these setups? Looking for a ride in exchange for some beer. |

On Xdrive e91 the spring set has to come from Germany, but with shipping it's about the same as buying locally here in the US, so no biggie, just takes 12-16 days.

My reference point is a 997 GT3 Cup car with Ohlins TTX 4 way adjustable dampers on linear Eibach ERS springs (about $12k in kit). The FSD's are damn good shocks for the price, better than the Yellows or the Bilsteins for daily use. Get the bumps correct too and DO NOT FORGET TO GET THE STIFFER UPPER REAR SHOCK BUSHINGS. The OE foam ones are shite. If you are going to spend B12 money, get Ohlins DFV's.

Go to Koni's German or UK site and look up what you need. None of the US kits are right for Xdrive. You're gunna be ordering from across the pond.
