Shame but I was honestly surprised how long it was allowed to stay open without him being a vendor.

I have seen threads closed MUCH faster here.

He's around on other forums, and I heard he has some new pulley's fabricated for his supercharger. It will be interesting to see what he comes up with.

I'm also going to be grabbing a set and a tune from Bob@BPC / Phil@BPC to go with them (as well as a Turbo inlet)

I'm betting that with those tweak and a right tune, consistent power can be made to redline....

I really feel like maybe I should have done these when my valve cover was off.

Yup. I missed out on them when I first did my VCG. Then - as if the BMW God's heard my stupid desire - I had to redo it because it leaked again, horribly this time. So I plunked down for the MILVs and threw them in while rebuilding the PCV in my original valve cover.

Spoke with CobraMarty last night...thought I'd pass this along.

He bought 24 MILVS install tools from China. Hopefully they will arrive.

He is now working on exhaust cams. Have N52 and N55 cams to get 'cam doctored' and spec'ed. Then hopefully a regrind for +1mm more lift.

Let me know if you need to get in touch with him...

Too bad it got closed, I was going to post in it just now. ;/

My car is at the garage with the engine break open just to check on the high oil consumption issue and condition of the piston/cylinder wall after 21 months of supercharging, figured might as well try on these MILVs since I need to retune after the rebuild anyway.

I just send him an email stated in his own website.... is this the proper way to reach him?

This thread is asking a wrong question. The question should be... why was Marty banned? Can they unban him?

Banned because he was using the forums to sell a product as a business and not paying vendor fees. This is in direct violation of T&Cs everyone does not read but clicks the box and agrees to when making an account to be allowed to post on this forum.

I am sure if he wanted to pay the monthly amount he could be unbanned. I doubt he sells enough MILVs to make a decent profit and pay vendor fees here. Better off with a website, listing them on ebay, or other forums where vendor fees are not required, facebook, instagram, other social media, etc. lots of free ways to advertise now.

If you want to help him put them in your sig, make threads about them and the gains you saw, etc.

Yes, it sucks but it is what it is. If you were the site owner you are kind of forced to do this because you have other vendors paying $500 a month. That shit adds up. This forum is a business designed for profit.

Oh I get all that... But I think they should've gave him a warning (opportunity).

For example... Bimmercode used forum to sell his stuff directly. They made him change his username and he stopped directly selling, but he was not banned.

I do not know the specifics, my guess is another vendor complained. Either way this is not the only forum out there for these cars and he is active in other places if you wish to interact with him on a forum.
