3000k has my vote! If you want really yellow (like I do for the fog/rain), go with the Nokya 2500k. If you want it to just look nice with your headlights, then go for the matching 6000k (which I assume your headlight must be).

I have the Hoen Endurance bulbs and they're perfect.
They're a dark yellow color as opposed to most of the washed out white-ish yellow bulbs on the market. |

I was in the same dilemma not knowing which fogs to go with, i wanted them to originally mat the LCI angel eyes, but that never gonna happen because noone seems to know what color temp they are to get fogs to match.
I am now with 10000k for fogs, but thinking if i should go with 4300K or 6000K and just maybe tint the fog lights with yellow film so that they are bright and very yellow, because i like HIDs only because they are brighter then any regular bulb, but the 3000K hids are just not THAT yellow for me (already had on my car and now they are chillin in my trunk in a box lol) |

HID in 3000K wont be as deep as a typical Halogen in 3000K. The output on the road will still have a yellow hue with a 3000K hid but if you look directly at the light it wont be as deep. Some people buy the lights for a look and others as a function so it depends on what your looking for.
To avoid errors its best to purchase a canbus HID system. A generic HID kit will likely throw errors and may not even turn on. Above is 3000K Angel eyes (halogen) with 4300K Fogs HID Below is 3000K Fog in halogen Last edited by Jeff@TopGearSolutions; 12-02-2011 at 12:07 PM.. |
