2011 stock and m-tech
this is my car: 2011 335i
is it LCI? pre-LCI? could someone please show me the difference between m-tech and stock front bumpers from years 07-10 and 2011. i would like to make some purchases but not sure if parts will fit. (grills, lower lip, spoiler, defuser, etc) and is m-tech for LCI called facelift? if not please explain. thank you, Sun Last edited by bsun607; 12-06-2011 at 08:20 AM.. |

If your car is a 2011 model, you have to get an M-Tech bumper for the 2011+ vehicles. If you have an E92 Pre-LCI, and you want the LCI front, you have to change the hood, headlights, bumper...aka it's a stupidly expensive venture, and it would probably be easier simply to upgrade the whole car.

You have an LCI car. The LCI gives you the LED angel eye rings, LED turn signals in the front, full LED tails, and refreshed bumpers. If you want to do an OEM M-Tech upgrade, you have to buy the bumper designed for the 2011+ E92/93s.
