Our N55 development car is being broken in as we speak. It will be dropped off to us after the release of the N54 calibrations.

yeah thats what i figured. numbers look good.

dealer visits require you to go to a GIAC dealer to get flashed back? or Flashloader?

is it extra to get Flashed back to stock at a GIAC dealer ?

This has been heavily discussed.

As with any ECU flash software, if the BMW dealer updates your ECU, you will completely loose your GIAC software. If that happens, you will need to go back to an authorized GIAC dealer, have them pull the latest OEM software that is in your ECU, send it to GIAC and wait for an updated version of GIAC software to be available.

Sometimes this can be a wait of 1-2 hours at most, sometimes it can take up to a month depending on how quickly GIAC come back with an update for the ECU software release version.

Of course, subsequent visits to a GIAC dealership will incur a small fee for having your GIAC product reinstalled. Some GIAC dealerships will offer a 1 time courtesy free reflash.

Do a little search next time, will ya?

I did Valet, Stock, GIAC Stage 2 pump map, and GIAC Race Map (91 and Meth or 100 octane).

I've attached a sheet with the best of each dyno except for the Race Map. I'll wait to post that one until the dyno shoot out that is taking place soon with all of the tuners. I was extremely impressed though.

All runs were done on 91 octane and meth was turned off for all runs except for the race map (which is not on the graph )
Mr. 5 when is the dyno shootout really going to happen? I keep hearing it is delayed and or never happening. Please set a deadline for posting the Race gas dyno numbers regardless of whether the shootout ever happens.

Stock car and race gas. However i would upgrade the intercooler on this car straight away considering how tiny it is to keep power consistent when the weather is hot.

Mr 5 I have read several of your dyno threads.. seems for the most part your are getting max boost numbers between 16 - 16.8 consistently. I know boost numbers are dependent on weather and other factors but i have two questions

What rpm are you seeing max boost?

Do you ever see max boost under 16?

There is another guy who posted that he maxed at 15.6 w stg 2.

It depends on the weather as you said. The cooler it gets, the boost goes down.
When I did my 9.90 60-130, I saw peak boost of about 15.8 psi at around 5k rpm.

That was my dyno run, and it was somewhat cold, in the mid 40s and the humidity was a factor. That was my 5th run as well, so it all depends.

Also, the update for stage 2 race just came out so I need to receive that from HP soon.

Does that really show that its making 400whp/wtq on 91 octane????
What is the timing like on those levels??

Yes, because 91 octane was being used at the time.
I didn't have any higher octane gas in the tank.
I was using methanol though.

I believe that the timing is about 15 degrees at red line.
There are some logs floating around here.
