Jb4 turns to map4 on 08 n54 02 code?

Jb4 tune goes from any map to map4 when I accelerate hard. Had an 02 code for a while now(since it popped up pretty sure). Installed my ARM catless downpipes yesterday and I figured if it was an 02 code that it wouldn’t matter anymore due to there being no more cats. I left the two rear ones out because they are really unnecessary anymore but the two front ones are needed I guess and I have a 2C9C code post cat which is an 02 code. Confused if a bad front 02 sensor can cause the jb4 to go into safety mode even if I have catless downpipes.

Your car still uses the rear O2 sensors even if there are no cats. Do you have a backend flash with the jb4? If not, maybe you should try that. I had so many problems with the Jb4. I switched to MHD about 2 years ago and I haven't looked back.

I was throwing a front 02 code before and I believe that was causing the tune to disable and go into safety mode. I think ima buy a front one and see what it does. I have both front ones in and it’s throwing a code so. And no I don’t have a backend flash I’m about to get one though

Where can I get the back end flash? Anything I need for installation

map4 safety map kicks can be checked within the app. Settings>user adjustment and down the bottom.
