Typo actually, it's 260HP and 550NM.
Yes they did a dyno before and after, there's dyno's on their website as well, the numbers they provide are the guaranteed numbers so mostly they get a little more.

I am just curious how much torque the AT gearbox can handle...I found information on the web stating that they are good for 600NM but many tuners go beyond that number.
I wrote a mail to stef when I wanted to tune my 2008 325D, he could only go to 230HP then, strange...

from 03/2010 the 325d has the new N55 engine which is the same as the one used in the 330d only limited by software.

Anyway he should be able to give you around 250 bhp...

Najt: I have the same car as you. and I saw result of your dyno from profi-tuning.sk, and I am interesting in.
I am deciding if I have to buy chip from ESS tuning or go to profi-tuning.sk.

What do you thnik that the performarce will be without removing DPF.

What about consumpriton with this chip (is higher or lover ...).
Did you measure the stock performance? (I red that it is about 218 hp).

Hi,
yeah. I ve made the stock dyno run. Before Chip I ve changed oil, sparks and all filters, so maybe thats the reason for higher engine power in stock values.

Consumption is almost the same. it depends on style of driving. I am driving very fast everywhere and its about 8,5L in town and when I am going 500km on highway from 140-180 i have 6,8.

more info is here:

I have had my 325d mapped. replacement DPF pipe and 2 map option flash unit. I have 245 or 270 bhp options. I can also get in excess of 750 miles per tank.

I've recently bought a 2008 325d e92 - auto. I understand the torque converter is only rated to 450nm in the auto which doesn't leave too much room for a remap - about 230bph and 450nm (Simon form emaps confirmed this).
I did quite a bit of research before buying but didn't realise this. Ideally I'd have got a 330d, but my previous car was written off and I needed to get something and just couldn't find the spec I wanted.

So, has anyone had any experience running a remapped 325d auto?? (not the N55 engine).
How has the auto held up?
Would the milder remap be worth it?
I get more safely?
Don't want to knacker my TC.
TIA, CB

Remap

Below are the figures quoted by Superchips for their Bluefin remap for the 325d, auto.
I've had it done and the difference is very noticeable.
I've not had any problems with the auto box.

Wouldn't trust Superchips numbers as far as I could throw them (?????)

My 335d was meant to get around 340-360 BHP. Only ever saw 320 BHP out of it. Still a nice little increase, and you can certainly feel the difference. Just wasn't the animal I paid for though.

That's interesting - sounds like a good gain.
How long have you had the remap? Do you drive it hard?
That's supposedly 70nm over the rating for the box. I wonder how much 'safety' is built into the rating figures for the torque converter.
