All coolant hoses

Hello. I'm considering changing all coolant hoses etc.. Has anyone done this ? Any recommendation? Where to purchases hoses. tips and tricks for aftermarket hoses? Also I have 335Xi so not sure if they are all the same or not. Pretty sure the subframe probably needs to be removed for the lower hoses?

Thanks

I've done most but not all on the n54, they are pretty straight forward in installing them. I would go with fcp euro since they have life time warranties, the coolant hoses have plastic ends which become very brittle from the engine heating up and cooling so if they ever break again you can just get a new one. Also the hose that goes into the engine right by the ofh has a plastic end on it I would buy a aluminum one to replace it.

In 2011 or 2012 I posted a DIY for replacing all the hoses on the N52. The N54/55 is probably nearly the same. No need to drop the subframe. I bought my hoses at getbwmparts.com.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

would you mind linking the DIY?
Searching for "hose" under DIY Guides section didn't yield much.
