One last question. The masterCyl are sometimes sold without the metal stick peace with one loop end and another end that connects to the Master Brake(I think this is the solenoid). This item goes into the black Booster cylinder.
Hope you help me understand, Your the type of resource this forum needs. Someone who is not afraid to experiment
If you are asking about the metal piece that looks like a fork with a loop, don't worry about that. That goes on the oposite side of the booster where the pedal attaches. Just remove yours and install M3

They come in orange, red and blue. I think your car is white so orange would look nice. Try to match your car interior.

Any e9x M3, they are all the same. No coding needed and fixes the soft pedal, yes!

I went to the track yesterday. The Cool Carbon performed well. I only got them because they were compatible price-wise with OEM but with next to ZERO brake dust.

Yes the fork that is on the other side of the booster

Actually here in the states they come in yellow, orange and red.
Blue was a factory install option (?) and the only way to get blue is directly off a car.

I think the orange is too much for my color car (arctic).
I'm going for yellow or red.

Plan to buy next week.

Orange is great. Blue would've been my number one pick though. The master I thin he meant had to be M 90/92/93. Regular will work but an M will boost and give a firmer pedal.

Good place to order I guess would be www.getbmwparts.Com but let me know if anyone sees better prices and the parts numbers for orange. I'll probably see if speech has F30 drilled slotted rotors so my rotors match and get cool carbon pads all around.

You can get any color available. Not true about blue that you can get it just off a car! What if blue caliper goes bad? They will remove one for you off someones car? See you dealer. They go $2k on ebay from BMW dealers. Now if that dealer is local to you pick them up and save on shipping.

Cool. Getbmwparts is a sponsor. Typically 20% off retail. I'll check him.
looking at their site they vary from $495-750 a caliper from there 435 and M4. Ceramic and regular. 2wd, 4wd. Really need to know the differences.

Why are you even looking at M4 and ceramic. Like I said earlier rotors from F80 will not fit regardless, regular or ceramic.
If you want F30 BBK 370mm all fronts are the same, for the 3cyl, 4cyl and 6cyl engines cars. Just pick your color.

For 328 they're $303 each, $681 with Msport. I'm guessing msport are bigger.

Why are you getting stuck on getbmwparts?

I gave you the differences in brake sizes earlier:
Standard f30 4 pot 340mm
f30 4 pot performance & sport 4 pot 370mm

Anyhow, part numbers:

front rotors
option #1 sport 370mm plain > 34106797606
option #2 performance 370mm dimpled & slotted > 34106797603

left caliper > 34116799469
right caliper > 34116799470

left dust shield > 34116792237
right dust shied > 34116792238

pads > 34116865460

You will find good info here:

No, what I meant is that blue is not standard as the M-Performance upgrade after you buy the car.
I know they will sell replacements.

http://www.brembo.com/en/News/Pages/...Catalogue.aspx
Brembo states that blue is factory install and the other colors are after delivery..

Turner has claipers, stoptech drilled/slotted rotors, and dust shields. Throw in cool carbon pads front and rear about $2100. I'll go this way. Still on the fence orange or blue. I'd like to match the rear calipers with the same color caliper paint. I don't need to put f30 rears on her and I'm hoping I don't have 2 different shades of orange or BMW blue front to rear. Anyone know where to get similar color caliper paint? Is the G4 stuff close enough?

Just checked the g4 site. They will do color match for $100. Not cheap but a solution.

Those fronts are 340mm and there for I would not recommend you installing F30 M Sport or M Performance brake as they are 345mm,
Look into 135i rear set. Lot cheaper, easier to mod and better match for your front.

Sell them, and no, not a plug and play.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...9&postcount=82
You need to mill the hub, drill the mounting tubs and space out the parking brake plate. Add M3 master cylinder as well.
Like I said, your fronts are 340mm and you don't want 345mm rear. Go with 135i caliper set up. Lot easier to mod, just one washer is needed.

Well shit, I might order a F30 hub and try it on for size. Reading though the training manual F30 Rear subframe is based off HA5 which the E90 has...Who knows

Do you have to have these F30 calipers? Are they the 2 pot Brembo's ?
If yes, they just mill them out like I did. But like I said, you will have slightly larger rotor in the rear and I would not like the change of brake torque bias.

I have F30 Brembos, Front n Rear..I cant imagine a slightly larger rear rotor would change the bias of the braking, just a large sweep area but then again its minor..I went to a small rotor up front so I guess it would be ok. Did you mill your stock 335 hub ?
