Snow socks availability
Just a Heads up to anyone without winter tyres or if you are trying to source snow socks from all the usual places, Vauxhall main dealers are stocking them.
Picked a set up for my 225/35/18s today from local dealer for £64.99 not used them as of yet but gives me piece of mind. So far the brand new falken 452's have coped admiraly not sure if its because they are new but a massive improvement over the bridestones OEM. Hope this helps someone else out as I know they are like hens teeth to locate from all the online places. Vauxhall are claiming they are more efficient than winter tyres but I'm not so sure, even on the packaging it states snow socks are not a substitute for winter tyres! http://www.perrys.co.uk/car-news/art...tyres-2389.php Si

Just been out to try fitting the snow socks due to the forecast this weekend,
18" MV3's msport suspension = Heavy Drama!! Or so I thought suprised just how easy they went on My Top Tip for the day is to use carrier bags on ya arms, my arms are by no means girly and I had no problems whatsoever... So I hope I don't have to use them but I am happy knowing I have them in the boot just incase. next year I will be seriously considering winter tyres... As I type white stuff is falling out the sky!!
