I have enjoyed your wait for the new car (I remember the wait verywell). Your car and spec are awesome. I love the facelifted e90 and the colour is lovely.

With the 6NF and Bluetooth do you get the part the adapter snaps into or do you have to have that installed extra? Is the snap-in adapter the same as that without the 6NF?

new idrive menu looks amazing...did you get a chance to see what options are listed under 'bmw services' ? im curious to see if they have included 'internet' even though they are still thrashing out uk data plans with the mobile companies.

say33d - I'll check out the features tomorrow and post a photo later. I had to sign some Connected Drive application form on Tuesday, so hopefully all will be set up by tomorrow. Not sure I'll get much sleep, really am hyper excited now!

I've been reading the manual - It's 275 pages, just too much!

No pics yet, but I have it. my memory card in the camera was full, so I have to go out again.

First impressions - incredibly fast and much much faster than my old 320d; just incredible pulling power in 6th from 60 upwards.

I do need to RTFM as I do not know how to switch the car off once I have turned the engine off, other than by getting out and touching the door handle.

Also, iPhone works perfectly with the Y Lead; not tested texts yet; not sure if I will get a plug-in adapter. Will be taking some pics later today and will be RTFM.

OK final pics. The BMW Services are not activated yet, I was told should be working in a few days.

The colour is growing on me, even though I would have preferred a red metallic.

Thanks Beemerbird, the pics were taken on "Hampshire's Treasure Island", by the beach.

One thing I have noticed is that it appears to change colour (it gets lighter and darker) like a chameleon.

The power is something else, not used to this much, but I'll give it a run up the Midlands this week.

I have not mastered the idrive yet, to me, the controller is too far back, and I have not used an idrive before, and there are so many menus.....anyway give me a few more days.
