stick on enblem and airbag?

hi, I just got a cf roundel for the steering wheel and as far as i am concerned i cannot take off the oem one on the wheel so i would just have to 3m tape over it. Would it affect anything with the airbag deployment? Safety first thanks

Meh, too many roundels isn't always good. Besides, why risk it flying off and nailing the passenger in the eye during an accident?

The new emblem for the steering wheel should come with a sticky back. There is no way to take the current one off, you just have to stick it on top. If you actually take it off, you will be out like 1.2k. It doesnt interfere with the airbag, but it has been proven that upon inpact, it flies off at a speed of 1.022 x 10000000. It has caused 3 deaths in a total of 2 years. Use at your own risk!

Got you buddy!

double roundal = airbag failure and certain death. Better not risk it.

Double the roundels = double the damage when the airbag explodes in your face.

Just check www.libertymutual.com

It is a fact that doubling your roundels at the time of impact is more reciprocating mass that will be launched towards your face. Survival rate is 0% for the double roundelers'.

Enjoy your cf eye candy, until one day it literally kills you.

Plus in the time before you airbag deploys and kills you, the extra weight of the extra roundal will greatly reduce handling which will likely cause the incident that leads to year death.

I dunno, I think it'd be kinda cool to walk away from an accident with a roundel imprint on your head? Sort of like a badge of honor.
