Bad News: Crashed '08 E92. Good News: New front end! But which?

Bad News: My neice crashed my '08 E92. Goos news: New front end! But which?

I have an '08 Space Grey Metallic E92 sedan. I asked my niece to drive my car to the shop to get a wheel put on. While she was on her way out there, she was looking at the GPS and ran into a car in front of her. The hood was bent and shifted, the grill was cracked, the bumper cover had a hole punched through it, and the driver's side headlight was damaged.

Because all I would need is the passenger side headlight, I have to decided to get the car repaired with the LCI front end. (From '09 on.) My question, should I go with the standard sedan front end, or something else? I like the M-tech aero kit, but am not sure.

I plan on getting the BMW Power Performance package next year, when I have a few extra dollars. What advantages are there to choosing the M-tech over the standard '09 (by which I mean the LCI) bumper? I think the looks are about the same, in my opinion. I thought I read if you have the M-tech bumper, you don't need a cold air pack seen here:

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462

But, I don't know if I would need to buy different grills and such, that won't changeover from my '08.

I am looking for high performance, both in air cooling for the engine, and the brakes, as I frequently go to High Performance Driver's Education events, and both my engine and brakes run hot.

I'll try to get some pictures up soon.

Thanks,

D

Go aftermarket. I could think of a few worth drooling over.
