Yes those are ok, mtec also has them in super white but color is your preference.

But the $169 is for both bulbs, right? Which doesn't seem that bad for the Xenon bulb......

Merry Christmas everyone!

I think i don't understand...but if MTEC H8 Super White only cost $ 22.95, why McCulloch D1S Bulbs cost so much more?

Can you explain what's the diference between these 2 kind of bulbs?

Thanks!

Shinchan might know how to explain the difference better--but I thought the H8 was a halogen and the D1S was a Xenon. If that is the case, then it would make sense that the halogens, even though very bright, would be far less expensive than the Xenons. But I am not sure.....

H8 is a simple Halogen bulb...some of them fill the H8 bulb with some Xenon gas.. but they are not real Xenon lights.

D1S is the bulb for our Xenon headlight. I also order the McCulloch D1C bulb for my car.. they should be here next week.

Last week, I help a friend install the McCulloch D1C 8000K D1C bulb.. they are really nice.. bluish tint to it.. but i think they are dimmer then I wanted...

as the ebay website explain.. the higher K you go.. the dimmer it get..

FOr me.. I am going for 6000K.. a nice white color with hint of purple/blue.. and will not loose much of the lights...

Changing the D1S bulb is not hard.. but it does requires a lot of time ... tons of the screws need to be removed... from the wheel fender wall... to get to the bulb... and teh Front wheel need to be removed also...

It's necessary to do all that?

Can you put here some photos when you do that?

I was thinking to buy PIAA 6500K Angel Eyes LED Marker 3 Series E90...so, i have to do all that too, right?

Yup, you'd prolly want to do them at the same time.

To the above poster, I wouldn't go with 10,000K you lose A LOT of light, I wouldn't even recomend going over 6,000K. At 8,000K it just becomes show and it really hinders the output of light.

My plan is Mtech Cosmos Blue for the Angel Eyes and McCulloch D1S 6000k for the xenons...
Still don't know what i plan on doing with the fogs... Either leave them as is or get some Mtech Super Whites...
Hopefully someone is thinking of doing the same and will post some pics before i get my car at the end of January so i can make a definitive decision

Looks very nice--not as blue as I would have thought--wonder if it will look more so at night--maybe you can post some night pics? Regardless--very nice!

But how would you describe the look of the cosmos blue at night?
Is there a significant amount of blue? Or does it lean more towards white...
