Group Buy - Dynavin Android Unit
Hi All,
I spoke to Trent @ Caraudiocraze.com and he offered a group buy on the new Dynavin units that are running the Android system. They should be available within a few weeks. Say 4 to be safe. Retail: $769 plus shipping 5 units: $749 Free Shipping 10 units: He said he would negotiate more at that point. Put your name with the corresponding # beside it if you are in. I will start 1. dgafxxx - email sent 2. Simon.bmw (manual controls) - email sent 3. 4. 5. If you want to research more about these units go to e46fanatics.com. They have been up and down inside and out of these units. *Update* 11/20 Trent from caraudiocraze is asking for the email addresses of those who are interested so he can issue them an invoice for a deposit and get the GB going. I have sent him two email addresses so far. Time to get in on this if you are looking to pick up a unit. Last edited by mapleridge; 11-21-2011 at 12:23 AM.. |

I'm in for the most part, although I would like to see it in action before I commit. Is it basically going to be just like the old Dynavin with Android? I've seen the android powered Dynavin for the e46 and it looks pretty sweet.

Don't know how many of us there are but manual climate control brackets are available as well but we should give them a heads up on that. Also, Canadian Vancouverites jump in. This is open to you too. We can ship to my parents home in Bellingham and you can drive across and pick it up there.

Would have loved to see the Anroid unit but I JUST bought and installed the e9x unit into my car this past week.
Hoping they'll at least give a software update for the unit. |

I am almost certain that it is a hardware difference between the windows unit and the android one. So old units cannot just be updated with software.
in terms of updating the OS once you have the android unit we should really be checking the e46fanatics forum. They have run inside and out of that unit and are the most familiar with it. |

5 units: $749 Free Shipping
Does that include to the UK? Do they come with the Freeview TV enabled? or is this an extra? Are any further cables needed? Does it come with the ashtray module for us with heated seats? $20 when you are spending $700 is hardly an attractive group buy? If they could confirm a decent price for maybe 20 units then im sure there would be more interest. Are they prepared to discuss prices? |

The Android units are different hardware and dynavin does have updates periodically on their android page that you download and put on the SD and it updates for you. The units do come with the ashtray relocation modules. Thats all the questions that i can answer from my past experiences with Dynavin and Trent @ caraudiocraze. |

Also, you can cheaply buy a "Data Only" sim card (in UK anyhow) for around $30 (link) |
