What happened to the wheels? We’re they refinished and painted silver? They should have a machined finish

I don't know any history on the wheels. If they were painted they did a really good job. I had a 335d previously which had reconditioned wheels by the BMW dealer and I could see where the finish was chipping/peeling a little bit. The finish looks perfect to me aside from a small amount of curb rash on some wheels.
