Is there a company/ angel eye upgrade that won't void the factory warranty?

They look fantastic, but it they potentially screw my headlight warranty, especially with a xenon package, then it's not such a good idea. What is everyone's take/ experience on that?

Replacing just the bulbs shouldn't void your factory warranty. The more intrusive kits have the potential to. You have to weigh what you want.

Great pic but it looks like this was taken from an angle favoring the passenger side -- it doesn't look completely centered and leveled to me? -- which would be the reason the outer ring on the LUX (driver side) only looks partially lit

A shot dead center, head on, would level the playing field

This shot is dead center, straight on. If anything, you might mention the fact that the passenger side is more shaded than the driver's side, which is in the sun. However, even if they re-take this shot in their garage, with even lighting from all sides, the Angel iBright system is not only brighter, but more evenly lights both rings. I know this from doing a lot of research here on the forums. I'm not affiliated with EAS, but am in the market for one of these kits. Aside from OSS, I think EAS' solution is the best out there. I feel OSS may be brighter, but it's 66% more expensive than the already expensive EAS kit, and you have to remove the damn headlight housing.

That picture of the LUX vs AIB a terrible picture to judge off of. As i've always mentioned, you need to step back from the car at least 15 or 20 feet in order to get a real view of the angel eyes. the farther back you are the better perspective you have on them.

I agree, I was thinking the same thing.

my thoughts exactly!
no offense to AIB but i just dont want people to be misinformed.
please consider my detailed analysis below of the picture!

Notice the position of the car in the picture. The car is more to the right (clearly seen by comparing the negative space between the picture's edge and the front tires) and thus camera is positioned a little bit off centered; its aimed more at the kidney grille on the passenger side.

Furthermore there is more light shed on the driver's fender as you can clearly see a sharp hood line casted on the passenger's side of the hood.

In addition the AIB side is much nearer to the shade of the building's tall wall.

Moreover, you can clearly see there is less shadow being casted beneath the bumper right onto the ground on the LUX's side in comparison to the AIB side where there is a relatively larger and darker shadow.

The amber corner signal on the LUX side is much lighter and reflective versus the AIB side which is more pronounced and deep in color.

Also note the cavity in the inner ring where the "cornering lamps" go is being lit up much more in the lux side vs the aib's side. This means there is more direct sunlight and reflectivity playing tricks on the camera (distorting the quality) as AE's are extremely hard to capture properly.

If you want one final proof look at the car mirrors, the LUX side is lighter and is reflecting more light thus lux is being understated.

in conclusion camera more centered to the AIB and the direction of light is coming from the lux h8's side. angles and camera position will distort the picture. If you put 2 AIB units in there instead of the comparing the lux and the aib. the story would've been the same and the aib on the driver's side will not look as good as the one being shaded on the passenger side.

please take a video so making to enhance the AIB's credibility!

sorry 1 more point i'd like to add: note the painted reflectors, the one on the AIB side casts more of a shadow than the one on the lux side. and look at the M3's front lip, we can see there is more light hitting the lux side of the lip.

all my points are trying to prove that the light source (the Sun) is more on the lux's side and the light source is coming from overhead of the cameraman.

look closely at the bumper's reflection (trace down the center of the hood emblem), you can make out the cameraman is squatting more to the AIB's side.

No offense brandon but I cant help it! i'm an artist who studied lighting and i took some photography lessons to know enough to determine the exact location where the camera is at the picture.

Sorry, but this picture is not the reality.

You know, the AngelEyes System of the E92 don't need much to look invisible and i'm very sure that the camera isn't in the middle of view. You can see it on the layout of this Pic...the distance right to the side Edge is less then the distance left...

I can tell this because i have the LUX H8 and just yesterday i parked my car in directly sunlight....Went 30-40 feed away just to see what the other people can see.....and i tell you...the LUX are very visible. In directliy sunlight too

I just wanna say that, so other person who don't know witch one to buy, don't get false information about the LUX H8

Look at the roundel to determine centering, not how much extra space there is to the left & right of the car. It looks like this picture was cropped, which would account for that. On my screen, the roundel is dead center. That's why I don't understand why some of you are saying it's not centered. What picture are you guys looking at, haha?

Finally, which one is the best bang for the buck if I don't want to spend more than 150$ for the set?

For $150, you'll be using something like GP Thunder, and you'll only be able to tell they're on at night. Very little bang for your buck.

Take some pics of that 30-40 feet away in direct sunlight so that people can see what you're talking about. There's nothing better than a picture to express what you're trying to convey.
