Hunter's in the Essex hotel, directly south of Central Park - smack in the middle of manhattan. Can one of u brooklyn folks run thru the city and pick him up? or if any of you are from westchester and further upstate

i think there was someone from NJ too right?

edit: How do i get to the Park btw, what exit on LIE, Northern, or Van Wyck

If you're coming from Long Island take the LIE westbound and get off on the College Pt Blvd exit and stay to ur left..make a left turn at the traffic light and stay on your right and take it past the 1st traffic light and the park is to your right...

i went to try and find the spot yesterday, key word being "TRY" I couldn't find it, I got off exit 11 on the Van Wyck Expressway to 69 street. I didn't know where to go. Is the spot really that convinent? I didn't think so. Please post directions because I'll be pretty miffed if I miss the meet because I didn't know where the hell to go. I'll gladly pick up Hunter as long as he gives me his cellphone number(So as to contact him) and is ready for pickup @ 11am,

I like being ontime, and easily pissed off @ people who make me late and I have road rage, are you sure he want to come with me? no I keed, I keed, Hunter if you are seriously going to be in manhattan it's no problem for me to pick you up as long as you are really ready @ 11 am. I've read through this thread and I'm still having a hard time trying to figure out exactly where in the park everyone will be meeting. Could someone post a picture from maybe Google maps with an arrow marking the spot where the meet will occur? As someone mentioned before, the park is HUGE and I could see people driving around for an hour trying to find the spot.

ok lets clear this up..we are meeting at Flushing Meadows Park off the Van Wyck Expressway heading towards the Jackie robinson/jamaica..the park is literally right next to the Van Wyck expwy and the parking lot is facing the water..

Wow, it sounds like alot of people don't know where the meet location is still. As a matter of fact, the confusion is making me not so sure myself anymore.

Shady - just to make clear, the meet is going to be in the same exact place as Queens Meet #1 right (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35584)? And the directions are at the bottom where it says Lake Area: http://www.nycgovparks.org/sub_your_...irections.html. Is that right?
