In this case: 1/2 tank = 10psi, 3/4 tank = 15psi, full tank = 20psi. And everything in between is pretty easy to figure out with half a brain (each notch is 1psi). It'll be a very sweet deal when when the peak hold/recall feature is implemented. far from pointless and essentially no different than a normal mechanical boost gauge.

If someone finds the boost gauge implementation hard to read, their head is going to explode when they try to decipher the wideband AFR display

Nope... that map changes are persistent. So it will start up on the same map that you had when you turned off your car. There was a bug in firmware #20 in which start-up map was either valet or map1 depending gauge display mode (fuel level or boost level). This was fixed with firmware #21 which has no known bugs.

Yes the AFR will need another scaling like e.g. a presentation of AFR from 10 to 20, where a quarter tank then represents AFR 12.5 to 1 and half tank 15 to 1 etc. I wouldn’t have any problems with such solutions as long as they are logical and intuitive. Anyway, it will be a great feature

I would suggest

0 = 11af
1/4 = 12af
1/2 = 13af
3/4 = 14af
full = 15af

Anything higher then 15, i dotn care to see, and if its higher than 15 floored, im obvious nto keeping it floored as 15 is already way to dangerous.

but before all this fun stuff, I want the 135 version of all this lol.

I like the idea...should be pretty easy to read.

I've been quite busy lately and managed to upload new firmware and maps only today. In dash boost gauge works perfectly. A really sweet functionality.
If only autotuned boost and IC settings could be displayed on dashboard (in digital screen), it would be just awesome. I would use my laptop only for updating firmware/maps.

Hmm. I must be somewhat retarded, but it's not working for me. Supposed to be just a double-tap of the hazards? Is there any particular time delay? Should the hazards be "on" and "off" or something? Sorry for being daft.

Make sure you are in Map 1 or 2, it won't work in Valet mode. Other than that, the timing is no different than map switching with the DTC button.

Hm. I don't think I'm in valet mode - I only really use map1 anyway. Are you supposed to press the button fully so that the hazards come on, or is there some half-way press?

[edit] should I be in drive or something? (6AT)

just press the DTC to change maps and shuffle back to map 1...then press the hazard button twice and it should work...

Firmware 20 has a bug that will switch it back to valet mode on startup unexpectedly sometimes. The issue was fixed in 21. If you are using #20 you may be in Valet mode and not realize it. Firmware 19 (if for some reason you have that one) doesn't allow switching.

A full press twice so that the hazards come on and then off when you click it the second time.

Ok, I'll give it a shot. Maybe it was stuck in some other mode and needs to be "refreshed", hehe.
