I wouldn't really call them high gloss, but they have a fair amount of gloss to them. They match the shadow line trim perfectly. Here is a different angle for them in the same lighting.

Nice, when you say performance edition, is that the sports edition with stiffer suspension and sports seats? Looks good

The BMW Performance Edition (PPK1/2), is/was a factory option first available on the 2011 cars. The Power Performance Kit 1 adds 20hp and 35tq and comes with the black kidney grills and the stock silver were also given to you and are in the trunk.

I changed out the chrome for carbon fiber on my 2010 E91. I like the look with the Space Gray but they were expensive.

Yup! I guess not everyone wants or likes the black grill, so they give you the stock silver ones in the trunk.

The grills arrived very quick, even though it states it's coming from China it shipped from a local address. The finish is pretty good, one of the grills was cracked so I believe it was damaged in shipping, they are sending me another grill.

I installed the black eye brows and I'm very impressed, i think it looks much better than the dated chrome. The black and chrome accent grill doesn't look bad, I just think the eye brows looked silly.
