Stll Trying To Code Injectors

I am simply trying to use the VMware to code my injectors. I can open up VMWARE (DiagHead) and can see the diagonostic tool ----- but how do I simply open up INPA in the VMWARE to code the injectors.

I have replaced the injectors --- (6) new -12 injectors -- but desperately need to code them so the car runs smoothly.

Help please.

SO -- how do I open INPA with virtual machine that I have and can run the DIS program. Or do I have to code the injectors with DIS.. Seems that INPA would be faster.

Just so we understand your situation, are you referring to the DIS virtual machine? Or, are you running a VM because of compatibility issues?

If it's the latter, install BMW std tools inside the VM. If it's the first, I'm pretty confident you can't run INPA inside the DIS VM.

OK - So I now can connect to the vehicle using DIS V57 and it lets me run a short test and see that my injector # 5 fault code. That was registered in the DME before I replaced all 6 of them now & I need to reset them. I just dont know which screen inside DIS lets me recode with engy / Flow.

Please help me with DIS screens or a guide to DIS --- THANKS in ADVANCE!

Connected into DIS under Diadnosis and ran a short test of all modules - then I went to Functions -- Motor Electronics -- Adjustment Programs -- Adjust Injectors.

The only additional problem I had was that when I recoded all (6) injectors and tried to save it gave me an error. Then I went in a input new values for each injector (1) at a time and saved info before coding the next cyl .

It all saved YES!!!!!!

Put the car back together and ALL CODES are now cleared and she runs as good as an 07 335i N54 can with 125k. I want a new car but I know I would miss her -- so I will just drive the hell out of my Tiag 6Mt N54.

Keep it rolling - they don't make them like this anymore.
