Part Number Help Please
So I am looking at Realoem.com and need the part numbers for 2 & 3 but the numbers are greyed out and not listed. Thanks in advance for your help.
Here is the link to the part list for the diagram above: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_6258 |

What are they supposed to be?

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

They are plastic parts where the back of the headlight attaches to with a screw. Mine is cracked. There are a total of three pieces, supposed to be.
I believe 12, 2, and 3 all go together and mounts on the frame. The pictured headlight bracket then attaches to this, 2/3 if I'm not mistaken. |

left 51647019777 right 51647019778 The reason you're finding the parts grayed out may be because you haven't entered the correct VIN at REALOEM or they have improperly assigned the VIN to a different model |

When I looked up an LCI 335i, I still did not find the part. I looks like the parts were retrofitted to the OP's car, if he owns a 2006 325i.

Good sleuthing - the notion of a retro fit makes sense
FWIW, the part # I found fits many E92 models according to Realoem including 325 (but only European 325). I don't think the OP gave much info regarding model |

Thank you but according to FCP, this doesn't fit the 325i but rather 328i and some others.

Also, upon installing my headlights I #3 is cracked, and what seemed to be #12 also had a hairline crack which is attached to the frame. I plan to change all three parts as the headlight does not mount flush in the corners because of these mentioned cracks.
Can you guys confirm that the mentioned parts all connect together as what I can recall from my install? |

I don't think anyone can confirm anything although it seems likely that those part number will fit if you've got parts that look like them in your vehicle.
According to Realoem, the US E9x 325i did not have #11 and #12 but the European 325i did. Most other US and European E92/E93 models have those parts. The same seems to be true for #2 and #3 As you've read above, EF3O suggests that perhaps someone retrofitted things in your car. Or Realoem could be wrong. It happens. Take the parts to a dealer for verification. Do you have E90, E92 or E93? |
