New 18" Moda MD-11 on e90

Put these on when I got the car in July. I couldn't do the 16's that were on the car...

I was nervous about the description "Bright Silver" They looked like chrome in picture but to my surprise when they showed up they're almost a gun metal. A very silvery gunmetal but far from the chrome I feared. I think they look great on the car and am very happy with them so far especially for the price. Granted it's just been 3k miles but still.

Just wanted to post as I couldn't find any kind of review of them on the net and with a few other photos to show, real world.

I added 70mm BMW center cap stickers as well which likewise turned out well

Sweet. Love the color.

I also have SGM sedan and gunmetal to me is the best for our color car.

Check out our West Coast brother with the gunmetal M3 rims and that is the closest to your color that I think looks outstanding on our rides.

Also like the Conti DWS rubber. I have them on my wife's car...really smooth and terrific in wet weather!

thanks
the dws rubber is great for 4 season or even 3 season in my case. i run snow's but the fall spring with good rain and junk on the road they're great. on the 18's they are nicely complimented. because they are SOFT. but cheap and uber grippy. i had them on a mini, my sister's c class and i think will be putting them on the x3's 19's

I Have a brand new still in the box set of these in my garage that I ordered as a winter set. Nice to finally see how they look on a e90.

I discovered the DWS on my last car, 2004 acura tl, and no exageration it transformed the car. They were about the 4th set of tires I put on the car and I was never really happy with the ride, till these went on - at over 120K miles.

My current car has the 16" rft contis and the ride stinks for 16" tires, what did you find ride quality wise going to the 18" DWS? Thanks.

18" wheel
225/44 DWS
if i did it over again i'd do a 235 width though. they sit narros on this rim.

The DWS is better as the sidewall gets smaller. They are a bit smooshy but they really grip, they're cheap, and for most of us that's a great combo of features. If sport is your objective and want an A/S I think you'd want the Pilot sport AS+ or RE970AS. For me, as much as I like sport, with Indianapolis roads and 50 miles daily commuting I like these quite a bit. This them on 18's I rarely feel the smoosh I had sometimes with my MINI and way less than on my sister's C class. (but great for her as a super grippy AS tire)
For the 16's I's suggest the 970's. Much more rigid sidewall but not in the offensive RF way. Then do some serious salt bags in the winter as far forward in the trunk as possible. Or buy snows!
