ok. i guess just gotta keep doing trial and error. i initially turned the screw 2 full turns, then kept adjust by a quarter turn, etc... i guess i'll mess with it more tonight. thanks for the help rob!

Car is going to be torn down today. After that, they'll see what else needs to be ordered and the process will begin. I'm trying not to rush them so much as i want them to do a good job, but i don't know if it'll be ready for the MOM meet.

Nick - you can always bring the car into the dealer and have them adjust your headlights. It might cost you since the car is lowered now though. When i adjusted my euros, and did the 25feet test, and thought it was still too low IMO. I then did one or two turns to raise it up more and it sits all right so far.

I read that most people turn it around 2 or 2.5 turns counterclockwise.

i thought maybe after i adjusted the light, the auto level feature will override my settings and adjust the beam lower. knawmean?
maybe you're just too slammed w/ the new coilovers?

i was thinking of taking it to the dealer, but i don't think it's worth the hassel for me personally having to get up extra early to drop off and then pick it up during my lunch break, etc... But if i can't get it right then i'll end up doing that. Any idea of how much they'll charge if they do charge you?

e92 owners are lucky they get a knob for adjustment. e90 owners get a plastic screw that strips easily.

yea 6 weeks sounds like a good amount of time, but we'll see. The projected timeframe is 6 weeks to 2 months..but if things work out smoothly, then perhaps 4 weeks. I just need the car back a week before so i can throw a few things on before MOM. They know i need it back, so they'll try.

not sure how much they charge. You can always do it on a saturday. You don't have to take it in on a weekday. And even so, they'll give you a loaner for the time being. So you're not going to be without a car.
