Not sure if you'll respond to this old thread, but did replacing the secondary cats with 1792 increase the sound? Im still debating to go fully catless + e92 x/h pipe + PE or Fully catless with Vibrant 1792 resonators in place of secondary cats + e92 x/h pipe + PE.
Where are you at? I've got catless downpipes with a PE mod. I had purchased vibrant resonators to add, but I like the exhaust note as it stands right now.
Yeah after reading some more and looking at yt vids, i think im just gonna go fully catless with the stock x pipe + bmw pe mufflers. I dont mind the rasp tbh. Plus i have a MT, it seems like most autoguys hate the rasp during upshifts
I think you'll like it on your 6 speed. Mine is a manual too and it's always fun to manipulate the exhaust tone. Plus downshifts sound so satisfying, but not obnoxious with that setup.

Exhaust help

hey guys so i have a 2011 335is and my current exhaust mods are vrsf catless dps, no secondary cats, and the rest is stock.( mufflers still on etc.)
after taking out the secondaries the car has a raspy tone to it now and i dont like it at all.
i was looking into some 1792 vibrant resonators to see if that will help.
anybody with some exhaust clips that would help too.
Also what inlet/ outside size do i need on the resonators.

Yes, putting a pair of resonators where the secondary cats were will help with the rasp. As far as inlet/outlet size.....you have a tape measure, right?

Is it possible to fit the resenator from 328i in place where the x pipe is or secondary cats?
