I purchased a 2007 E90 330d M-sport auto last week, changing from a Mk5 Golf R32.

I am very pleased with it so far. Not sure whether to change anything yet, although a few people have suggested a remap to me!

I pick up our first 3 Series on the 1st Sep. We are chopping in our Cooper S Convertible because we now need an estate car.

So, it's a Sparkling Graphite 320i Edition SE, Sep 2008, 11000 miles, Leather, heated seats, USB, Parking assist front and rear etc. £18,995 from a BMW dealer. Not our first BMW though, we currently also run a 130i Limited Edition and have previously had a 123d and Z4. We don't do a huge mileage so the additional cost of the equivalent diesel would have been a waste of money.

Collected my (new to me) E92 335i SE on Friday.

Space Grey, 19" 230 wheels and high gloss shadowline, replaces my 330D which in the end had 183k on the clock.

Loving the 335i, so much power available in any gear. Kind of like the diesel but with much more power and a far better sound track!

Well - picked it up yesterday and very pleased we are too! Once I got it home, I was surprised to find a number of nice little 'touches' that I hadn't expected eg. The brolly holder (complete with 'free' BMW brolley), the opening rear window and the way the load cover goes back and the cooled cup holder in the arm rest.

I'll miss the 'poke' of the Cooper S though

Woops only three posts, and I have made a mistake already by posting in the main forum.. Never mind.. Been looking for an Alpine White 335i M Sport Coupe with manual gearbox for weeks. Finaly found a mint 59 plater with black leather, 19" alloys, pro sat-nav, and lots of options.. Picking up late next week, cant wait!!!

Sadly the car was sold before I could make an offer!
Now should I buy a 318i SE or 320D SE? I have around 10-12k to spend but not too sure which one to go for. I do around 12k miles per year and most of it is short journeys, it only takes 15 -20 mins to get to work. The 320D is a bit faster and seems to be cheaper on road tax. Can the 320D be used for short journeys?

Hi all

Currently have a 118D M-Sport Black Sapphire, but come October 1st that goes away and will be getting a E92 320D Msport in Mineral White / Coral Red - cant wait, just hope the Mineral White looks good as not seen the colour in the flesh yet!
