the 3M body tape is really strong. Unless you have a ricer wing I don't think it's going to fall off - prep it properly, remove all wax and clean with alcohol.

Use the 3M tape and prep the area with their adhesion promoter. It won't fall off.

Don't use adhesion promoter. It's unnecessary and more likely to cause issues if you want to remove. And because these high-kicks can be a pain to install perfectly the first time, there's a good chance you might want to remove / reinstall (I did).
A good 3M double-sided automotive tape works just fine. I park outside in Alabama heat and my high-kick cf isn't going anywhere... trust me.

I've used 3M for years and I live in FL too. My M3 trunk lip spoiler is still on as solid as it was when new, same with color matched reflectors.

it really depends how good the fit is. if you need to flex the hell out of that sucker to close the gaps, you're going to need adhesion promoter without question.

Use the 3M tape, nothing else is needed unless you want to make a mess. I replaced a cheap lip the previous owner installed with an adhesive and it left quite a mess. He also had a rear window lip that left a strange stain on the glass, very annoying. I used 3M tape to install the M3 CF lip and have had no issues for 18 months. Test fit the lip, use a heat gun to adjust any issues with fit and then use the tape.
