I didn't skip ahead, but I have three potential answers...

1) She locked the keys in accidentally with the key fob. unlocking it was a cinch!

2) She left windows down and reached in and unlocked the car (you said windows were locked, not closed)

3) She jimmied the lock / called AAA?

Maybe I'm parsing this one a bit too much?

A man wants to commit suicide. He sells everything in his second floor apartment. The apartment is now empty. He makes a trip to the store to pick the items needed. Several days later tenants on the ground floor apartment complain to the superintendent of a leak. Upon entering the mans apartment, the super finds the man hung himself. One rope tied to the light fixture. The other end of the rope around the mans neck which left him hanging several feet from the floor. No ladder, no steps, nothing to stand on. How was the man able to do this?
