So I ran it on the dyno
I ran my 2010 328i on the dyno at a dyno day last night. Right now I have the PE, BMS powerbox, and an AFE intake.
I did put some 110 octane into the car before the dyno with some 91 already in it so I would say it was at about 100 octane. The best run I got was 198.3 hp and 214.5 tq. Not great but I think it gets up and goes pretty quick.

Dynocom dyno and those numbers look a little low, but probable considering the mods could potentially lose power. Can't wait to see where you go from here.

Maybe those mods are actuallty given you a decent increase in power I would imaged AA tune should bump your gains to 205 whp and maybe close to 220 WTQ |

A huge misconception about octane is that more is better, which is not always the case. The higher the octane rating the slower burning the fuel will be; plus a higher octane rated fuel is harder to ignite as compared to a lower rated octane fuel. Ideally, you want just enough octane to prevent pre-ignition. It is quite possible the higher rated octane fuel you used robbed you of a few horsepower!

Yeah, ya gotta get compression ratio up to about 11.5:1 or higher to extract any extra power out of 100 octane in an N52. Think of octane as anti-knock index instead of an available power index.

Looks like it was a N51? Anyhow the powerbox with the high octane fuel probably caused you to run rich and lose power at redline anyhow. Most of your mods have done nothing for performance and could even cause power loss(especially if the AFE is the open filter type)

I tested a gain of power with the AFE SI intake over the stock box, but that was with a proper tune as well. When you get the AA tune, and a 3 stage, I expect a huge gain in power - with headers more so. Consider this as a baseline and work from here.
Oh the BMW muffler doesn't gain any real power I'm sure. |

And you're right, the BMW Performance muffler power increase is negligible but the sound is soooo nice it doesn't matter
