So I ran it on the dyno

I ran my 2010 328i on the dyno at a dyno day last night. Right now I have the PE, BMS powerbox, and an AFE intake.
I did put some 110 octane into the car before the dyno with some 91 already in it so I would say it was at about 100 octane.
The best run I got was 198.3 hp and 214.5 tq.
Not great but I think it gets up and goes pretty quick.

To be honest I'm not too sure. And it's a 6 speed.

The dyno couldn't even be nice and round you up to 200 haha...Okay Andrew I will say it for you...time to ditch the BMS powerbox and get a real tune like AA

Anything more than 93 on a stock tune is worthless FYI. Car/ECU cannot effectively manage it and will just run rich

Dynocom dyno and those numbers look a little low, but probable considering the mods could potentially lose power. Can't wait to see where you go from here.

how could you have 214 tq when the car is rated at 200 and only mods you have are BMW powerbox ( supposedly it gives you very little gains ) , pe exhaust ( same as BMS powerbox) and afe intake ( same as the last 2)

Maybe those mods are actuallty given you a decent increase in power

I would imaged AA tune should bump your gains to 205 whp and maybe close to 220 WTQ

A huge misconception about octane is that more is better, which is not always the case. The higher the octane rating the slower burning the fuel will be; plus a higher octane rated fuel is harder to ignite as compared to a lower rated octane fuel. Ideally, you want just enough octane to prevent pre-ignition. It is quite possible the higher rated octane fuel you used robbed you of a few horsepower!

I honestly felt like it was slower with the 110 in it

Yeah, ya gotta get compression ratio up to about 11.5:1 or higher to extract any extra power out of 100 octane in an N52. Think of octane as anti-knock index instead of an available power index.

Looks like it was a N51? Anyhow the powerbox with the high octane fuel probably caused you to run rich and lose power at redline anyhow. Most of your mods have done nothing for performance and could even cause power loss(especially if the AFE is the open filter type)

No, it was a n52. It's the closed box filter. How do people say that the exhaust and intake don't give an power? I don't understand that? The intake is taking more air in and the exhaust is letting it flow more freely. I've noticed power gains with both those mods.

The intake on a NA engine isn't going to help unless the cylinder is scavenged better by a header and proper backpressure exhaust system, the exhaust system has to be custom made to have any significant affect, you can't buy one. And the intake doesn't have nearly as much effect as the proper scavenging does since it's limited by the intake cam on the N52.

I tested a gain of power with the AFE SI intake over the stock box, but that was with a proper tune as well. When you get the AA tune, and a 3 stage, I expect a huge gain in power - with headers more so. Consider this as a baseline and work from here.

Oh the BMW muffler doesn't gain any real power I'm sure.

Yep, the three stage makes more of an air charge available to all cylinders at all revs except for a couple of resonant notches so this is where the power increase comes from. A tune in conjunction with the manifold optimizes it but the bulk of the power increase is from the manifold change as we've seen and The Axiom has documented. If the stock intake is restricting the airflow demanded by the manifold change a CAI will help a bit but by itself, not so much.

And you're right, the BMW Performance muffler power increase is negligible but the sound is soooo nice it doesn't matter
