Don't go to USF unless you want your car stolen. I forget the website, but google search college crime rates. USF has the 2nd highest crime rate of all schools, next to Florida A&M I believe. But it is #2 for crime. I remember reading the stats....about 40 - 50 cars are stolen there a year, among countless other roberries and crimes.

I know a couple people that go there and they say the same thing. one of my friends got her soft top convertible slashed like 3 different times....

Yea, it is a really bad area. I was going to go there, but decided against it after finding out about the crime rate. I visited the school 2 or 3 times, nice campus, but the surrounding area is generally scummy. I hear from my friends that go there that its the neighborhood scum that mostly does the robberies, etc.

Just go to the mall and you will see. I was checking to make sure my wallet was in my back pocket once every 5 min.
