Will "Launch" professional scanner clear all codes?

Local high-end perf shop says their Launch control module scanner will see and clear all codes on a 335, incl hidden codes. Is this true? Yes, I know the BT tool will do it too but this place only charges 15 bucks for the code clearing.

If anybody has good info, I'd appreciate it.

I have a Launch OBDII scanner that clears OBDII codes. It won't clear DME codes though. This is just a consumer type product though. Did they tell you the model of scanner?

They just called it a "launch control scanner". Any additional info? I appreciate you taking the time to reply.
