Thanks, Ste92ve, for this great thread! i happy to say that my new baby (328i) is also aboard the good ship, liberty!

Ordered 2/16, build completed on 3/5 (my BIRTHDAY), trucked to port 3/6, set sail onboard the Liberty 3/12!

You have done great work to find all these pictures of the Liberty, ports, maps, etc, and share them with us. many thanks!

This ship cannot arrive here soon enough!

I started buying car cleaning gear yesterday to give her her first bath!

Liberty arrived at the Southampton docks this morning @ 06:30 GMT and after taking in some fish and chips she will set sail for America @ 18:00 GMT. Now is the last chance to amass a collection of reading material and any other items of comfort that's available ashore before we set out for our overseas passage. The Atlantic crossing can be as smooth as glass or as rough as the worst roller coaster you ever have been on. (see: The Perfect Storm). For those that are weak in the stomach, please secure a quantity of dramamine from the infirmary before we leave the docks. This may be the last update for awhile until Liberty announces her position and weather/sea conditions on the open water.

Well, I'm new to the forum and it has been a great help knowing I am not the only person out there going nuts waiting on my new car!

My 335i Cp has been awaiting transport since 03/08 and (fingers crossed) should be on the Liberty.
