LMAO, sorry buddy, my web designer is not a car guy he thought the car was cool, I agreed but I told him for now we only sell BMW parts so a BMW would be more apt. The new images will be up soon. Sorry for that.

does the coating affect the cooling efficiency? (same applies to OC)

if yes, leave it uncoated

If the black has the same cooling efficiency as the white (chrome/metal) than go with the black one....

I may be in the minority, but I really, really want a polished intercooler. Maybe ceramic coated and polished?

I dont think its a good idea. Ceramic coating is a thermal isolant, so it will do the trick on exhaust manifolds and downpipes, but on a cooler?

Ordered and paid . Looking forward to the product and a cooler running engine ( It runs already a bit cooler with the FMIC ). I currently see 230 degF ( normal driving ). I am working towards getting rid of the cylinder 5 and 6 heat issue.

To be honest with you I havent found this information either. I have been searching for the answer as well. From my observation, I do not think that there is just one static temp that opens the thermostat valve you will notice that on cold days you thermostat will open between 230 and 240 and on hot days the valve seems to open at around 210. This has just been my observation. I do plan on testing this theory out a some point.

OK, thanks for the reply.
I thought that just the water temp was on different cycles, but I could be wrong.
