VRSF has the worst communication of any vendor I've ever seen
I placed an order with VRSF on August 29th. It is now September 26th, and to date I have still been unable to get anybody to respond to my messages about problems with my order.
I have sent Tiago PM's on this site which have gone unanswered. I have sent email via VRSF's "contact us" page on their website numerous times, all of which have gone unanswered. I have attempted to call the phone number on VRSF's contact us page, it always rings endlessly with no answer regardless of the day of the week or time. I placed an order for multiple parts. Everything showed up except one part (my DCI/air scoops.) Since nobody seems willing to be bothered to get in touch with me, I'm left with no chouice but to file a Paypal claim this afternoon. If you're wise, you'll do business with somebody else. Even if these guys do decide to make good on their mistake and ship me the part they forgot, it's patently ridiculous that it takes a month of sending them messages every few days to elicit a reply. I can't speak to the quality of the product, but their "customer service" is the worst I've ever experienced from any company that has ever sold me ANYTHING.

See, I would have been perfectly understanding if that had been communicated to me at some point. I've been trying to get in touch for three weeks. He was last seen on the forums yesterday, which leads me to believe it would have been possible to tell me that which would have caused me to let it go until things cool off.

I was on the same boat as you when I ordered my intercooler from them 2 weeks ago. Heard nothing from him but a week later he tells me he had to be away for family reasons so I gave him a break since stuff does happen...

Stuff happens man. I placed an order for the intercooler before I read the buy thread in regards to his family emergency. I had already cut my shroud and the factory piping in anticipation and my buddy who was free to give me a hand and added on 3 day air since my car isn't a daily driver. I ordered on the 20th of this month. Now my car is sitting there with no intercooler and not driveable.
Again.. stuff happens.. just hope the family is okay. Tiago is a pretty stand-up dude. Last edited by Simple5; 09-27-2012 at 04:26 AM.. |

Inexcusable. I own a business too but when stuff happens, even something dramatic as a death in the family, I've always made sure to keep my clients informed myself or via proxy. It's not hard- detailed out-of-office email responders, mass emails, detailed voice mail greetings, ect. Stuff happens, but once you take a person's money you still have some minimum obligations you must fulfill.
I wish the best for his family situation. |

Of course stuff happens, and I hope everything is ok for him and his family. Maybe this makes me sound like a jerk, but I still don't see how that excuses almost a month's worth of completely unanswered communication. If I got a message weeks ago saying "hey I'm going through a family emergency, please understand it might take me longer than usual to respond to this situation" I never would have said a word, but that is NOT what happened. I've just been left hanging since August and getting the distinct feeling nobody wanted to deal with me because I was reporting a problem with an order. I opened a paypal claim and still haven't had any contact.

No, you are not a jerk. You are a concerned customer who paid his hard earned money and hasn't gotten his items he has paid for yet. Hopefully he can make things right by you.

I'm 100% sorry for the inconvenience, I've been gone for about a week and half and just got back into the country. Got in last night at 2 am, came straight to the shop and slept on the couch for a couple of hours. I'm doing my best to get all these orders processed and shipped today.
I've had very limited internet access where I was staying (Brazil) and had to run to an internet cafe whenever I had a chance to answer e-mails & questions. In my 8 years of being in business, this is the first time we've had to deal with this kind of emergency and were unprepared. I'll make sure this doesn't happen again. Anyone with any questions, e-mail us. PM's will be answered this weekend when I'm caught up with shipping/e-mails. |

Also, it's worth noting that (one month after my order was placed) my charge pipe still had not arrived. When I contacted VRSF yet again, they sent it out promptly.
