Infiniti G37x?

I have to get a fourth car...I currently have a 335i xDrive, M6, and Mercedes E350 4matic. I need something with AWD, and that is safe. I considered the 328xi but would like something with a little more room and that is maybe a little easier to use in the tech dept... (not for me, I should add).

What have people heard about the Infiniti G37...any advice / input would be appreciated!!

For anything AWD I'd consider an Audi. The A4/S4 was very easy to use tech wise, I reviewed one for a forum member here and the traction was phenomenal. But as I have said before, the AWD system on the G37 is actually very capable having tracing its roots to Nissan Skyline GTRs of the past.

I like 'em especially in the Sport version. You can pick up an '08 in the low $30k's and that includes all options. 0-60 in around 5 seconds makes this a good buy IMO. I also had a FX45 for 3.5 years with zero issues so the quality is there too.

I drove one today..and actually leased it after...

I did not think it was better in any way than the 335 xDrive (it did ride smoother). The real clincher was the price - how does 440/month sound 39month lease, 12k miles per year with tax 0 dollars down...

Oh and that is on a car with navigation, premium stereo, etc...fully loaded with everything but radar cruise..41,380 MSRP

it had plenty of power and pretty impressive handling. Imagine a 335 blanched of all road feel but with an almost comparable level of grip. It is definitely a bit cheaper on build quality...

Dang, that's some good dealin' there. What did you get the price down to? Money factor? Residual?

I have no idea what the money factor and residual were...I saw the ones posted online but even putting those into the calculator at invoice prices...I came out about 60 dollars a month higher than my price. I know that there is a 1,000 dollar holiday incentive on the car...but my dealer went into the holdback of 2500 from the manufacturer so the deal was actually in the red....until they get paid at the end of the year with the holdback money. Also - if you put down the 9 MSD's it drops the price to 399 a month w/tax. A comparably equipped 328i xDrive was about another 100 dollars a month apples-to-apples.

Oh and the coupe was the same price as the sedan per month - comparably equipped - but I would have needed to give a 500 dollar cap cost reduction.

As a side note - what do you guys think is faster the 335i xDrive or the G37x in a straight line? My seat of the pants impression is that the 335 is a bit quicker but maybe im biased???

Who is the car for? If power isn't an issue, I'd go with what's cheapest. I think the BMW would be better in the long run since it's cheaper to maintain.

nice choice, the G37 is an excellent value. If I couldn't have my 335, I would probably be driving one of them.
