Battery drain

I'm not sure how long it has truly been happening but I've noticed a battery drain in my 2010 e90 328 for the last month. I've been getting some code every time I start the car it's been sitting for over 8 hours. It dims the LEDs in the cluster til the battery charges up. At the same time my passenger side door switches have been intermittently not working.
Not sure if that problem is related but I know for a fact that the OBDII stays on even after the key is pulled out of the ignition. I have a CTS OBDII monitor and it will continue to show data after the key is pulled.
I had a new tune put on by ESS over a year ago and ever since that the OBDII hasn't turned off with ignition off. I contacted them but they said that the tune did not do anything with that system. I was not experiencing battery issues back then.
I've noticed that the car never goes to sleep because the start button LED never turns off, even after being locked for 8 hours.
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting.

If you are on the original battery the lifetime average on them
is about 6 years . Shorter if the car is allowed to sit or not taken
on decent sized trips now and then.

OBD port 12 volts is and always on connection.

Should've been clear on battery replacement. My fault. I replaced the battery in August 2017.

Measured the current when the car was asleep, measured 1.5 amps. I'm guessing that's way too much, everything I've read said 50mA. Gonna have to start pulling fuses

Hooked up the multimeter again. After one minute the start button turns off and current drops to .5 amps, after two minutes I can hear the computers making noises and current drops to .01 amps. Took the battery to Oreilly's for a check. It said it was low but good. Hooked it back up and can't get the start button to stay on. My guess would be disconnecting the battery for a couple minutes reset the computer or something. I'm not sure but I'm happy

Try putting a full slow charge on it .
Charge points are under the Hood see manual.

If the battery voltage is under 12 volts resting its no good.
I don't trust other people mesurements .
You need above 12.4 resting voltage to feel confident
or at least I do.

Check the BST maybe.
With the car not asleep it the motor not running I believe
the current draw should be .5 amps max.
