Thought I'd be a little original with mystic as it wasn't in the original dealer brochure (from sept production). So taking a leap of faith. Arctic does look cool though if not a bit girly when it has its green period. Go for Mystic!!!
I couldn't agree more!

Looking forward to seeing your pics!

I'm sorry to disagree here, but whilst Mystic IS metallic (and if you look at it in a certain angle up close in bright sunlight you can catch the metallic sparkle), in real life conditions, it looks very flat in comparisson to other metallics.

I wanted a mid-blue, but having looked at loads of mystic 5 series, I firmly came to the opinion that I wouldn't be prepared to pay extra for a metallic colour that looks non-metallic.

Yeah fine!

But isn't black flat too? from a distance!! Then again it shows the dirt, its NOT original really! You're only interested in the resale value later. Sure your 330d m sport looks cool (you think?) but too be honest that m package is a waste of money!!! WHY?

You were not prepared to take the risk for MYSTIC! Yes mystic is metallic!! I suppose up north (England) the weather isn't so clear.

Only joking mate your car looks very nice (seen the pictures). But I'll see the same image of that car everyday down here! (and in US, Europe, Dubai, Japan, etc)

Mystic do it !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry guys but my stupid digital isn't working to show you pictures but I AM VERY HAPPY FOR MY NEW DELIVERY TODAY!!!!!!!!
Good luck enjoy your ride!!! MYSTIC/ANTHRACITE/ALUMINIUM

wac77 -
mystic blue w/ grey leather is so so so choice.
well-chosen.
now as fall is bringing winter our way, get several layers of wax or polish protection on that gorgeous paint (and wheels) to prevent swirls.
congratulationes,

Wac: good choice and thanks for the pics.

BTW Did you notice if the car looks any higher than a RWD at the dealership?

In the pics, looks pretty low to the ground still.

I don't think I can tell the 5mm difference with the non-SP 330i. It definitely looks more "normal" than the E46 xi.

The 330i with SP is clearly lower and looks better (rims too), but I really need/want an all-seasons car.

Welcome.

Ok definitely good that it's not very noticeable.
I know you can't compare it to the SP on a RWD, since the SP with RWD is clearly lower than without. I'll be happy as long as it's not as noticeable as the previous generation.

Thanks and enjoy the car this weekend.

To each his or her own, I guess.

But seriously, my car is my compromise. All seasons, no mods. The color is also my compromise, a blue that I like, dark enough to contrast the chrome trim, yet light enough to show more of the complex curvatures of BMW latest designs.

Now, if I were to get a car as sporty and modded as yours, I would just go for black. Monaco blue is more of a luxury car color, IMHO.
