This guy, this guy right here is awesome. My first car was a 2002 VW Golf TDI. I bought with my own money back when I was 16. Now I am currently 20 and saving up to buy an E92 335i. Almost there. Some people are lucky they have daddy to pay for them. Congrats Doe! Enjoy the car!

You do realize this is the kid that said his dad had a Lamborghini and the same car in the picture was a video from youtube. He is a complete fake.

Wow soo many haters.. I don't understand why people get mad at other people for be fortunate enough to have parents that can afford and are willing to buy their child a nice car. I myself had to work for my car but that doesn't make me any better than the OP.

Hey man enjoy your car and like other members said just be safe and drive responsibly. I remember when I was 16 I had a blast with my 1993 Honda Civic and that was only 10 years ago lol.

You sound like sound like a 16 year old who appreciates what his parents are able to do for him so don't let these jealous haters get to to you. They're just mad that you are 16 and they are 40 and you are driving a nicer car than them lol.

Deja Vu. I remember several years ago some other kid posting about his first car - an M5. After many, many responses from so-called "haters", it turned out the car was his dad's car. It did not work out well for this kid - or his friends. Sorry if this link has already been posted in this thread (I couldn't take the time to read all these posts)...

http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...-m-mode-7.html

EDIT - oops, just saw this "kid's" epic fail in another thread. Oh well... with all the other kids posting in his defense, the link is still worth posting.

We've already made the determination that this kid was trolling but I think this comment needs to be clarified. Its not that other more experienced drivers are mad that the kid has a nice car, but that someone's parents would put such a potentially hazardous instrument in their inexperienced hands. If the kid got a new 30k camry or honda there wouldnt be the hate because those cars don't have the potential for danger that the 335 has. Its the same thing with kids going to school in Lambos and whatever. You have to wonder what the parents are thinking to give their child a car like that- even if they can afford to do it they set a bad precedent for their kids because they don't need to work for anything. If a lambo is your first car, where do you go from there? Veyron at 21? And if you think that it makes older people feel bad because a 20 something kid or younger is driving a lambo, LA is full of kids driving Gtrs and Lambos who live at home with their parents. They sacrifice moving out to pay for cars that they feel enhance their image while they eat ramen for dinner. To me thats misplaced priorities, a smart person wouldn't stretch themselves for a depreciating luxury item like that and would focus on things that enhance their earning ability. I have more respect for someone who could easily afford such nice things but chooses to be more modest.

So he must have lost his license on this one. Driving 2x over (at least here in WA) I believe is classified as reckless and causes you to lose your license and possibly spend time in jail...

Don't know/care if OP is a troll but here's my 2 cents - Before my 335, I went through 3 cars which were all less than 200hp. Even with those three, I almost ended up in big trouble multiple times. ALMOST. Be careful, especially in the rain. Btw, I got mine at 22.

I'm not trying to sound like I'm cocky but I can almost guarantee I have driven faster cars than you, if my first car is over 30000 dollars you can imagine my dad has some pretty expensive stuff, not saying I'm a better driver than you but I have a feel for how fast cars are and to not toy with them
I have to say, you're pretty damned lucky. I was exactly like you, my first car was a turbocharged 2010 Challenger SE. I was always careful, it was my baby. Ended up totaling it, not because of me, nor my driving. Happened because of a deer. Just be careful dude, I'm lucky to be alive. With that much car, making split second decisions is a lot more difficult.

Also, not trying to brag, but I worked for a wholesale car company that dealt mostly in exotic/luxury/muscle cars since I was 15. No matter how much experience you may have (or think you have), nothing can prepare you for some stuff.

Just be smart, and stay safe.
